This is my take on an Arch based Linux distro themed after my favourite anime character Lala Satalin Deviluke. The installer installs a very lightweight arch system with a few additions. The total size after installation is roughly 5GB.
Because this distro is intended for desktop use, it goes without saying that some kind of desktop environment is needed. Thats what makes this project unique.
As a window manager, I decided to go with xmonad + xmobar, because it is highly customizable and works great out of the box.
stalonetray in addtion with volctl, cbatticon and nm-applet is used as the system tray to control the volume and network manager and to keep an eye on the battery status.
The default terminal is kitty.
The display manager is sddm.
The wallpaper program is nitrogen, so to change the wallpaper, start nitrogen and change the settings according to your taste.
The screensaver application is xscreensaver with the default screensaver set to "BSOD", which is a collection of bluescreens from different operating systems.
To change the screensaver open the settings GUI by running xscreensaver-settings.
The script also installs my personal configs for the look and feel I inteded for this project. Feel free to change them.
It also includes the management tool satalin-os-utility, which can be used with sosu.
